Sustainability and Nature
Integration with Nature
To support ecosystem resilience, nature-based solutions will be essential.
The proposals will include a focus on nature, integration of landscape throughout the development, creation of diverse habitats, street tree planting, and sustainable drainage, forming a varied and multi-functional landscape.

A Low-Carbon Future
Building energy and heating demand will be met with low and zero carbon sources, including heat pumps and photovoltaic panels. All dwellings will conform to the Governments Future Homes Standards. The development will not be connected to the gas network. A ‘fabric first’ approach will reduce energy demand through an efficient envelope, high air tightness, and ventilation.
All dwellings will have electric vehicle charging facilities.
